Q: USB and 2009 Chevrolet Impala question?
Hi,
Our family has a 2009 Chevrolet Impala LS. I was wondering is there a USB outlet in this type of vehicle or not, and if so, where is it located. It would be convient for charging my iPod. Thanks in advance!!!
– Frannie
A: Buy a 12v USB Charger for a car. Very cheap and easy to find.
Q: Model car 2009 Chevrolet Impala LT?
Does anyone know where I can find a 2009 (or another recent year) Chevy Impala Lt model car?
A: www.autotrader.com
Does this help any?
Q: Opinion of 2008 or 2009 Chevrolet Impala?
I am considering a Chevy Impala. I have good service out of Chevy Cavaliars I have owned getting ovrer 200,000 miles on each one. I am not worried about GM going bankrupt; I just want to hear from people who own Impalas & how they perform. Edmonds.com had differing opinions
A: I have a 2000, and love it.
Good fuel economy, avg about 25mpg, seats 6 (yes, i have the bench seat in the front), very comfortable ride, good performance, very low mx costs, i have not had any major repair to date, and cheap insurance because they are large sedans with high safety ratings, and not a high theft vechile.
Plus, they are not cop magnents, altough sporty looking, will not be targeted like a bright red mustang.
Q: Is there anyone selling an Chevrolet Impala in Detroit?
Im looking to purchase an Impala {2000-2009} Good condition reasonably priced either RED or BLACK
A: check out on yahoo go to there auto section and look under the used portion and type what your looking for. You can always go on dealers website and look at their used inventory. That is how i found my durango
Q: 2009 Chevrolet Malibu won’t accelerate after stopping at a stoplight?
It only does it once and a while. It will do it in stop and go traffic. (i.e.-stopping at a stoplight, stopping to let someone turn.)
Took it to the dealer and they couldn’t find a problem. I cannot tell weather it dies or not because it runs so quiet. There is no indicator light that comes on.
By The Way- It is a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ. It is only about 3 months old and it has been to the shop 4 times. There was a recall on the Malibus but not for that reason. If anyone is thinking of buying a Malibu, I don’t recommend it. I recommend a Chevrolet Impala or a Chevrolet Cobalt
Thanks
A: If it is still present, take it back to the dealer and tell them there IS a problem and you expect it to either be taken care of, or you want a copy of their policy on lemons. If a vehicle is taken to a shop with the same problem a certain number of times, it may be considered a lemon. I’m sure once you begin asking about this, they will be more apt to find the real issue. Do not be rude, but do not be soft. You bought that vehicle from them in good faith they would stand by the warranty, and you need to make sure they do. Be firm and polite, it will go a long ways.
Q: Are Chevrolet Impalas expensive these days?
Are Chevrolet Impalas expensive these days(1994-2009 models)?
And are they still expensive when they are used?
Are they even common to find anymore? I don’t see them much(I live in NY)
A: To 88 in 2010–The SS version of the Impala is no longer available. 2009 was the last model year.
New Impalas cost between $27,000 and $33,000–depends on the trim level and options. The sticker price of my 2008 SS was almost $33,000. They tend to depreciate rather quickly.
Are they common? In my area they are.
Q: What Chevrolet model is most often worked on at a Chevrolet Dealership?
I am thinking of considering the 2009 Chevrolet Aveo, but worry based on consumer reviews that it might be a bad choice. I can get a great deal on one, and I think they are attractive for their class. My question is though, is the Aveo the most commonly seen car in the dealership for repairs, or is the Cobalt? What about the Impala? Silverado? What is the most common model seen in the dealership for repair (is my question)? This applies only to Chevrolet models that are relatively new. Thanks so much for your time!
A: We see more cobalt’s than any other car every day.Main reason we sell tons more cobalt’s that any other car. Most of the newer cobalt’s come in for routine maintenance and minor repairs. The consumer reviews on the aveo hit the nail on the head. The aveo from the beginning has been a real mistake for chevrolet and the problems with them are huge. The aveo is not a good or safe car to drive or own.If you want a quality car the cobalt and the impala are worth the money and have few problems with normal care. Please consider a real chevrolet not a korean built pice of junk.Best of luck.

Q: Buy a new car-yes or no?Or wait?
I am looking to trade in my 2006 chevrolet Impala LS (excellent condition-above blue book) with no money out of pocket down, for a new Impala LS. I financed it and owe $15,000.00 on it and dealers are offering me abpout $9,000.00 trade in value for it. Yes i am upside down on the financing for it and my previous trade in. I am being offered GM rebates of about $3500.00 . My main concern right now is monthly payment. MY payment, right now, is $420.00 month. If i trade in for a new one it will increase to about $480.00 month. My most recent and best offer is for a new 2009 Impala LS at $395.00 month (7.7% interest rate) or $450.00 month (2.9 interest rate). I have till the end of August 2009 when my factory warranty expires and rebates expire next week.Would you take the $395.00 month payment? Yes or no? Or wait till the new 2010 model year starts and then buy a new 2009 Impala at a discount-maybe with rebates. There were a few minor warranty issues with factory rust and a cracked battery-the warranty covered this however, it expires in August this year. Any input or advice? Thanks
A: Keep your 2006 right now. You have too much negative equity and are just digging yourself a bigger hole if you trade it in.
There is no sense in adding on additional negative equity when you drive your new car off the lot to save $25 a month. You will end up $10K in the hole when you factor in the negative equity you have in yoru current car.
Besides, on the 2009 models, the deals are not going to expire next week. They can only get better for you.
Chevy will have 2009 Impala’s on their lot at the end of the year and will be begging you to take them. Heck, they may even offer 0% financing again.

Q: 2002 Chevy Impala engine fans?
I have owned my Impala since February of 2009. It is a great car, the only problem that I have constantly noticed is that when I am idling, or stuck in rush hour traffic my engine temperature will go above halfway, and on one occasion, has went into the red
I have taken my car to more than one dealer on more than one occasion, and in the most recent trip to a Chevrolet dealer, the tech told me that Chevy’s engine fans do not kick on until the temperature is 226 degrees and that NOTHING was wrong with my car.
However, upon getting stuck in rush hour traffic again, my engine temp slowly crept up above halfway, and was on the last click below red before i luckily was able to reach my destination and turn the car off.
CAn someone just please tell me what is wrong with my car, I don’t like having to plan my trips around traffic, and I am tired of being told things that obviously aren’t right.
P.S. : When I took the car to the chevy dealer and the dealer before them, both of them told me nothing was wrong with my engine fans, or my bcm, and that everything in my car was in good working condition.
A: Yes, take your car to another mechanic. Sounds like your temperature sending unit is bad or some other problem like a faulty fan. It is a flat out lie that a fan would only kick in until the temp is 226 degrees. That is past the boiling point of plain water and is only around 25 degrees below the red. You’re playing with fire at that point.

Q: Can anyone help with my stolen car situation?
My name is Holly Hardesty and I am looking for someone to give a voice to a serious issue that I have found myself in the middle of. I am now the proud owner of a stolen 2007 Suzuki Forenza. I am writing this for anyone who will listen and because I want to make people aware of what could happen to them if they find themselves dealing with Bremen Chevrolet Buick in Bremen Indiana.
I have overcome many obstacles in my life including bankruptcy and I finally had my life and credit back on track. I am now a college student and while taking business math I learned some things about interest and realized I had a not so pleasant interest rate on my new Suzuki. Therefore, I decided to look into refinancing my Suzuki. While looking to refinance my car I was contacted by Kevin Wenzel of Bremen Chevrolet Buick. Since meeting with Mr. Wenzel, I have been in turmoil. With nowhere left to turn to. Now I want to tell my story to anyone and everyone who will listen.
Kevin Wenzel from Bremen Chevrolet Buick contacted me about trading in my car on April 5, 2009. He told me that he found me through one of the finance company’s I had applied at to refinance. He said he was sure he could help me with a trade in. On April 8, 2009, I traveled to Bremen Chevrolet Buick and arrived at the car lot around 1:45 pm.
I talked with Chuck Nick first and test-drove a Chevy Impala. A little later, after Kevin Wenzel looked over my credit and paperwork Chuck Nick came back with a burgundy 2008 Dodge Charger and said that Kevin could not help my current loan and credit with the price of the Impala but could make things better with the price of the Charger.
While talking to Kevin Wenzel I learned that Bremen Chevrolet Buick brought him in from California to help them get rid of some cars and revamp the way things work in their company, so he was only a temporary employee. (So I was told)
When discussing the trade in he offered to take sixty days to attempt to sell my Suzuki if he could not sell the car he would write it off as a trade -in. I signed paperwork regarding the exchange and he said he would mail me a copy of all the paper work involving the Suzuki. I signed several different pieces of paperwork regarding the Suzuki, the Charger and the new warranty I purchased for the Charger. I never received my copies of the paper work that I signed involving my Suzuki. What I received was the purchase agreement for the Charger. Several days later, I received the transfer of title paperwork for the license branch but nothing else.
On May 14, 2009, I received a phone call from the finance company for the Suzuki saying that they never received the pay off. Both Citi Auto Financial and I contacted Bremen Chevrolet Buick and they said that they never had the Suzuki or any paper work on it. They also told us that Kevin Wenzel no longer worked there but I was free to contact him but was never given a contact number.
My witnesses Billie Adkins and Kenny Burrington went to Bremen Chevrolet Buick approximately 2 weeks after I bought the charger to look into a car for them. They took the spare key and manual that belonged with the Suzuki and dropped the items off while they were there. They saw the Suzuki parked on the lot and Kevin Wenzel took the keys and manual for the Suzuki and knew what car they belonged too. When they were speaking with Kevin Wenzel, he told them he was from Illinois.
May 22, 2009, I went to the Bremen police department at 9am and filed a stolen car report with officer Spade. Officer Spade informed me that there was nothing they could do because it was a civil matter but the police department would look into it.
What I learned from the police department was that Mr. Wenzel was no longer employed their and no one had any knowledge about my Suzuki. Since May 22, 2009, I contacted my insurance company Unitrin Direct. After waiting, a couple months for their decision on whether or not they would cover the Suzuki Unitrin Direct reported to me that they would not cover the Suzuki. Due to the Suzuki not being reported until sometime after I changed my policy over, even though the Suzuki was indeed stolen the same day I transferred the policy and left it in the care of Bremen Chevrolet.
After being denied coverage from Unitrin Direct I contacted a lawyer who informed me that I did not have a good chance at winning this particular case due to the fact that I do not have copy’s of the paper work that I signed for my Suzuki.
After hearing this news, I contacted the Citi Financial to see if there was anything, they could do to help me with the situation. Citi Financial contacted their insurance company Balboa insurance. Balboa contacted me, I filed all the necessary paper work with them, and they researched into my case. I received a letter from Balboa Insurance this week stating that they could not cover an embezzled car.
Now I am left with two options contact the lawyer and pay him to quite possibly loose the cas
A: For car insurance the easiest way to get a low quote is do a car policy comparison. If you choose the same coverage amounts, you can get an fast quote to compare against others. Use the same zipcode, car make and model, mileage and driving history to ensure you get accurate comparison.
